Just wanted to drop by today to share a little something I've been working with. My husband was cleaning out his old CD collection recently and he came in from the garage offering me a large pile of CD's he no longer wanted.

And what do you do with an old junky pile of CD's? Turn them into art, of course.

This was just an experiment to start off with, but I'm loving it. I kinda like it on it's own, but it would look great as part of a set or even to use in another project. Could be the start of something!

Special Scrap365 Case File No. S365-9

Happy weekend everyone! Today I want to share one of my latest layouts, this one was created for Scrap365 as part of the Guest Designers over at CSI - Color Stories Inspiration Challenge this week. The case files there are always inspiring and for this week's challenge I've used the colour palette, leaves/branches, music elements, mist, scatter something as my evidence, and for my testimony I've placed my handwritten journaling onto my background and written it as a thank you note.

So thrilled to be part of the team this week, thank you CSI for having me along with the rest of the Guest Designers this week.

Capture - Lily Of The Valley

Hi guys. Today I wanted to call in to share a quick peek at one of my latest layouts for Scrap Muse using the brand new November kit, Lily Of The Valley.

I've been busily creating step x step photographic tutorials for you guys to follow on with me as we walk through the process to recreate these projects and the classroom goes live tomorrow!

The first lot of kits went postal yesterday, so they are on their way to their new owners and I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone in class. Did you miss out? There are still a few kits left but hurry as they are a limited release and won't be restocked. You get your classroom access codes along with your goodies all boxed up and ready to go!

How cool is that! Can't wait to see you.

A Couple Of Things I've Been Working On

Hi everyone. I hope you have all recovered from your weekend of celebrating Halloween. We had several knocks on our front door and there were all kinds of crazy costumed kids running about!

So last night we revealed our first kit for Scrap Muse, Lily Of The Valley. I love this kit! and I've been working on it behind the scenes creating step x steps with lots of fun technique using product in ways you might not ordinarily use them. Have you tried the Shimmerz goodies yet? They are awesome. I'm particularly taken with Inklingz - little pots of sparkling colour. They come dry, reminding me of a pressed powder eyeshadow really, and you add water to activate them. I simply added around a tablespoon of water to both pots and left them overnight to soak. In the morning they had transformed! Serious magic was going on. They are permanent, intense little pots of colour that you can even apply to a non porous surface for a great look. To be honest I'd never tried them until I got my kit, and now I'm a big fan.

So come join me in the classroom, let's play around with some product and have some fun together. Kit purchase gives you free access to eight tutorials, and if you spend a grand total of $100 in the shop (including the cost of the kit!) then you get free postage within Australia! It's an amazing offer since the kit is already heavily discounted.

Introducing Lily Of The Valley - November @ Scrap Muse

...and here it is. November brings with it the introduction of our first ever kit for Scrap Muse, my brand new venture in scrapland. I'm so very thrilled to finally be able to reveal everything we have been working on for the past couple of months.

Our little shop quietly went live a few weeks ago now and happily everything is functioning well and doing as it ought. So far so good! I can't tell you how excited we are that everything is going to plan and now tonight is the night we reveal our first ever kit, lovingly named Lily Of The Valley.

Designed by Amy Prior, this kit has all the product you will need to create at least 4 layouts or projects of your choice*. As an additional bonus with the kit you will also gain access to our exclusive online classroom, where both Amy and I will be walking through the creation of our own layouts using our Lily Of The Valley kit to help you on your way. How cool is that! Totally free and exclusive for you! You get the password packed into your kit, so all the excitement will start the moment you unpack!

You can find the November kit, Lily Of The Valley, here.

There are a limited number of kits available and we won't be restocking or selling extra class seats so be sure and grab yours while we have them in stock.

I can't wait to see you in the classroom, take care til then x

*NOTE general craft tools, adhesives and basic mixed media supplies such as gesso and texture paste are not included in the kits however we will be using these things in our projects.
