"Between Winter And Spring" - New March Kit @ C'est Magnifique

Today I want to share my third layout using the new March Kit at C'est Magnifique, "Between Winter And Spring"

In this layout I have used lots of pinks shades and a touch of lemon and lime to create a perfectly girly layout featuring a photo of Holly at ballet lessons when she was little. Such a cutie hey? I love going through my older photographs and discovering little treasures like this one.

I've used lots of the brand new Blue Fern Garden patterned papers - fussy cutting some of the gorgeous elements and layering them up. My background was created using Art Anthology Colorations mist in "Heart" which comes with the main kit.

The colours and mix of embellishments really inspired me and I have enjoyed creating with this kit immensely. I have a couple more projects to reveal over the coming days using this same kit - I hope this inspires you as much as it did me!

Just Adore These Two - Another Look @ C'est Magnifique March

My second layout for C'est Magnifique March features the pink shades in the kits. I was completely inspired by the gorgeous large pink Prima vine and built my layout around that one element, creating a floral wreath design.

I've added some pretty paper layers behind my photograph along with a gold acetate frame and finished off the look by adding two fussy cut butterflies from the patterned papers in the kit.

A closer look at some more of the Prima flowers and a sweet little watercoloured bird which comes with the vine in your kit.

I've added some colour to the white flower in this photograph with one of the Twinkling H2O's found in the Mixed Media kit. You can really take a plain white flower to another level by adding just a touch of colour.

And lastly, a look at the white lace applique included in the main kit along with those sweet little butterflies cut from one of the patterned papers.

Thanks for looking! It's raining and cool here today - this summer has had such crazy weather, I'm sure we have all four seasons going on in Australia.

A Little Peek @ C'est Magnifique's March Kit!

It's time to start sharing some inspiration from the C'est Magnifique March kit.

For my first layout I've used the green and aqua shades using lots of watercolouring techniques. I've added flowers, some chipboard from Blue Fern Studios and papers from UHK.

Loving the adorable Blue Fern chipboard!

A closer look at my mixed media style background. Lots of inky fun here.

...add a title and some flowers. Don't forget the distress stamping!

Thanks for dropping by, I will have another share from this kit on my blog tomorrow, or you can find my second layout here on the C'est Magnifique blog.

A Sneak Peek @ The March C'est Magnifique Kit

I'm so excited to be designing with the brand new C'est Magnifique kits for March and today we sharing a peek into some of the items you will find.

There are gorgeous and brand new patterned papers from Blue Fern Studios "Blue Fern Garden" collection PLUS UHK "Winter Is Coming", which has an amazing clear embossed patterned on the back of each sheet - ideal for misting!

The Magnifique Mixed Media kit is designed by Erin Blegen and Kelly Foster, and is created to use either with the main kit, any of the add-ons or by itself. Lots of goodies in this.

There are also two add-ons this month - a flower add-on of course! which coordinates perfectly with a great mix of brands...

...and last, but not least, the embellishments. Alphas, chipboard, resins, stamps...

...and if that's not enough, there's even more!

I'm looking forward to sharing how I have been using this kit. Seriously in love!

Couture Collection By Graphic 45 For The Scrapbook Store

This month one of the collections I am creating with is the gorgeously vintage Graphic 45 Couture collection for The Scrapbook Store. The beautiful roaring 20's style images work so well fussy cut and arranged around your photo and I'm loving the flame red/orange shades teamed with the aqua on a black background - so very striking.

I've used lots of coordinating Petaloo flowers on my layout along with a Prima vine and G45 Couture die cut flowers trailing down to extend the fussy cut dress. Such a fun look!

Love Notes - The Scrapbook Store February Sketch Challenge

It's another new month already, and with that comes another new sketch and chance to win a $40 store credit and postage at The Scrapbook Store just by playing along and uploading your take to our gallery

I've used papers from Cosmo Cricket Creative Girl Mini Deck paper pad - which I totally love, so girly, eclectic and gorgeous, as well as a variety of washi tapes and finished it all off by creating an embellishment using the round Ephiphany Crafts Shape Studio tool and matching bubble caps - such a cool thing to have in your stash.

Here's the sketch for this month, don't forget to upload to the gallery and I'll see you there!
